O vereador Alex Mascarenhas apresentou requerimento solicitando a instalação de uma base comunitária da Guarda Metropolitana no Parque dos Povos Indígenas, localizado na região norte de Palmas. O pedido visa garantir mais segurança e tranquilidade para os frequentadores do espaço.
De acordo com o parlamentar, o parque tem enfrentado um aumento significativo na presença de pessoas em situação de rua, consumo de entorpecentes e práticas inadequadas, o que tem gerado insegurança e afastado famílias, idosos e demais usuários do local.
“O Parque dos Povos Indígenas é um importante espaço de convivência e lazer da nossa cidade. A presença fixa da Guarda Metropolitana vai fortalecer a segurança, prevenir delitos e devolver ao cidadão a tranquilidade para frequentar o local com segurança”, destacou o vereador.
Alex defende que a base permanente seja instalada com urgência, contribuindo para a ordem pública e para a qualidade de vida da população que utiliza o parque diariamente.
