O vereador Alex Mascarenhas apresentou requerimento ao Poder Executivo Municipal pedindo a instalação de um posto fixo da Guarda Metropolitana no bairro Taquari. O pedido atende às reivindicações de moradores e comerciantes que relataram aumento nas ocorrências de insegurança na região.
Segundo o parlamentar, o Taquari tem apresentado constante crescimento populacional e comercial, o que reforça a necessidade de maior presença de agentes de segurança para coibir delitos, garantir a ordem pública e oferecer mais tranquilidade à comunidade.
“A implantação desse posto vai ampliar a sensação de segurança, reduzir crimes e vandalismo, além de possibilitar respostas mais rápidas em situações de urgência. É uma medida preventiva que vai apoiar diretamente os moradores do Taquari”, destacou Alex Mascarenhas.
