O vereador Alex Mascarenhas apresentou requerimento solicitando a implantação de uma faixa de pedestre elevada em frente ao CMEI Criança Feliz, localizado no Setor Santa Fé, em Taquaralto. A solicitação visa garantir mais segurança para crianças, pais e servidores que frequentam a unidade escolar.
Segundo o vereador, a rua São Raimundo Galvão da Cruz, onde está situado o CMEI, é um trecho de tráfego constante e, muitas vezes, com veículos em alta velocidade. A ausência de sinalização adequada coloca em risco a integridade de todos que precisam atravessar a via diariamente, especialmente nos horários de entrada e saída das crianças.
“Esse é um pedido urgente da comunidade escolar. A faixa elevada vai ajudar a reduzir a velocidade dos veículos e garantir o respeito à travessia dos pequenos. Nosso objetivo é proteger vidas e atender a uma demanda justa dos moradores da região”, destacou Alex Mascarenhas.
